Tis the Season to Reflect and Look Forward
Let me start by saying "Happy Holidays!" I wish you and all yours a wonderful season. This time of year is also great time to reflect the past year and look forward to 2015. Here’s some questions for your reflection:
What are you most grateful for this year?
What was the most important lesson you learned in 2014 and how will you apply that lesson in 2015?
How will you celebrate your accomplishments for 2014?
What will you do different next year?
I have been reflecting on these questions and here is what I came up with. I am most grateful for all the people in my life who have supported and championed me. I am grateful for the opportunities to coach amazing people. I am grateful to everyone who supported my writing and bought my book. The most important lesson I learned this year was that I am capable of more than I thought. Despite major setbacks, I kept moving forward and I didn’t allow my saboteurs to get in my way. Next year I will start out knowing I am resilient and capable of pushing through my biggest fears and self-imposed limitations. I have much more optimism than I did at this time last year. I know all of you are capable of this too and I expect to hear about great things from you in 2015! I am celebrating that I published my first novel, The Curious Magic of Buckeye Groves. The reviews are starting to come in and people are telling me they can’t put it down until they finish it. The book is spiritual fiction, a heroine’s journey, a mystery, and a love story all wrapped up in an easy to read fantasy tale. One reader told me it offered her a new and affirming perspective on female friendships. The book is major accomplishment for me. I am celebrating every sold copy with a happy dance.
