This month I am narrowing my client focus to empowering divinely inspired women to trust their inner inspiration to finally write and publish their book. I am excited about this direction. As many of you know, I published my first novel last year. It was truly an inspired creation. It feels so good to hold the published hard copy version in my hands. If you are a writer, I want you to feel that too. While the book is my first endeavor into writing fiction and publishing, I have been writing for a long time and I have also spent a life time in service to my muse and creating: visual arts, performance arts, textile arts, dancing. I have learned a lot about navigating the creative process and to me it is a sacred and intuitive journey. This month I will share a tip about getting started on your book or expressive project.
Here’s the tip: Trust Your Inspiration Do you feel a persistent call to share a learning or understanding with your tribe (or the world)? Do you feel there is a missing piece or a different twist on the messages that are already out there? Do you find yourself getting jealous of other women who have already written a book or published their message? Don’t judge that jealousy or ignore that call. Instead, get curious about it. All these could be signs that you are divinely inspired and it is time to write your book or create your project. Your desire is your sacred call to action.
Trust the inspiration and accept that your contribution is needed. Don’t get stalled by the “who am I to do this” and don’t fear getting caught up in your ego. All messages are eternally present and have already been shared somewhere or sometime. Remembering that will keep your ego in check. It is only in western culture that we continually think we have to produce something new and groundbreaking. This is what often leads to an out of balance ego, performance anxiety and can prevent us from being still enough to listen deep inside ourselves which is the key to the inspiration. Your unique self and authentic being will speak to those who need to hear it from you. They are waiting for you to share it. Who are you to not share it? If the call has been persistent, that is your muse letting you know it is time. It is time!
